PinBee vs PinRadar: Honest Comparison of Two Pinterest Analytics Extensions (2026)
PinBee or PinRadar? We compare features, free plans, browsers, pricing, accounts and privacy to help you pick the right Pinterest analytics extension.

PinBee and PinRadar are browser extensions that turn Pinterest into a research tool. Both show hidden engagement numbers on every pin, both give each pin a viral score, and both have a free plan with an optional Pro upgrade.
With that much overlap, the details decide which one suits you: which browsers it runs on, what the free plan really includes, how Pro is activated, and what each tool is best at. This guide covers all of it, including the areas where PinRadar is ahead.
About this comparison: we make PinBee. To keep it fair, every PinRadar detail below comes from PinRadar's own website, checked on September 30, 2026. Features and prices can change, so confirm on pinradar.io before buying. PinRadar is a trademark of its owner.
Quick verdict

"Not listed" means we could not find the feature on PinRadar's website, not necessarily that it does not exist.
Browser support
This is the simplest difference, and for some people the deciding one.
PinBee has official listings on the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons and Firefox Add-ons.
PinRadar is a Chrome extension. Other Chromium browsers such as Brave can often install Chrome extensions, but there is no Firefox version listed.
Verdict: if you use Firefox, PinBee is the option of the two. On Chrome, both work.
Stats and viral score
Both tools put engagement numbers directly on pins as you browse, and both compute a viral score from 0 to 100. Both are free.
PinBee shows saves, reactions, shares, repins, comments and age on each pin, plus a percentile badge ("top 2%") showing where the pin ranks in the current results.
PinRadar shows a similar set of metrics, with colour-coded badges (Viral, Trending, Popular, Growing, Low). Its site explains that its score weighs engagement against the pin's age, so a new pin with strong numbers scores higher than an old one.
Verdict: a close match on the free overlay. Try both and see which layout you find easier to scan. For background on what each number means, read our guide to saves vs reactions vs shares.
Sorting and time-period filters
PinBee sorts any search by saves for free. Pro adds every other metric, range filters and a time-period filter (last 7, 30 or 90 days, or the last year). That combination lets you ask a very specific question: which pins in this niche performed best in the last 30 days?
PinRadar lets you sort feeds by viral score, and its saved-pins manager can be sorted by engagement and filtered by language. We could not find a time-period filter on its website.
Verdict: for finding recent winners in a search, PinBee's period filter is the stronger tool. Our walkthrough on finding the best-performing pins shows how to use it.
Keyword research
This is PinRadar's standout feature, and it is worth being clear about.
PinRadar Pro extracts Pinterest's annotations (the interest tags Pinterest assigns to each pin), related keywords and the pin's category. You can click or copy them, and they are included in the CSV export. If Pinterest SEO is central to your work, this is valuable data.
PinBee does not currently show annotations. For keyword research with PinBee, you use Pinterest's own search suggestions together with PinBee's sorting to check which phrases have proven, high-engagement content, as described in our Pinterest keyword research guide.
Verdict: PinRadar wins on keyword data.
Creators, accounts and boards
PinBee Pro shows three lines on every card: Creator (who originally made the pin), Shared by (who saved it where you found it) and Source (the linked website). It is designed to answer "who is really winning in this niche, and who gets the traffic?" at a glance.
PinRadar Pro goes deeper on accounts and boards: follower counts, pin counts and board-level engagement, all available in its exports.
Verdict: PinBee is quicker for tracing creator and source while you browse. PinRadar offers deeper account and board statistics.
Downloads, exports and saved pins
PinBee downloads full-resolution images for free. Pro adds MP4 video downloads, bulk ZIP downloads and CSV export. Every scanned pin is kept in a searchable Library on your computer, with 500 pins on the free plan and unlimited on Pro.
PinRadar Pro downloads HD images and MP4 videos, supports ZIP batches, and exports CSV files with 29+ columns, including keywords, board data and language. Its pin saver keeps chosen pins locally.
Verdict: both download MP4 videos on Pro. PinRadar's CSV exports are more detailed; PinBee's free image downloads and automatic Library are handy if you are not paying for Pro.
Activating Pro: key or account?
PinBee does not use accounts. After checkout, your licence key arrives by email; you paste it into the extension's Pro tab and click Activate. There is no sign-up, and you never connect a Google or Pinterest account.
PinRadar asks you to create an account; its site says it collects your Google account name and email for authentication. You then generate your key in a dashboard and paste it into the extension.
Verdict: both are quick. If you prefer not to link a Google account, PinBee's key-only activation is simpler.
Pricing
| Plan | PinBee | PinRadar |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $5 | $8 |
| Yearly | $29 | $29 |
| Lifetime | $49 | $49 |
| Devices | 5 | 3 |
- Monthly: PinBee is cheaper.
- Yearly and lifetime: the same price ($29 per year, $49 lifetime).
- Devices: PinBee allows 5, PinRadar allows 3.
PinBee offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on every plan. Check PinRadar's current refund terms on its site.
Verdict: PinBee costs less month to month, the yearly and lifetime plans cost the same, and PinBee covers more devices.
Privacy
Both tools say they process Pinterest data locally in your browser rather than on their servers, which is good to see.
The difference is accounts. PinBee has none: the only thing that leaves your browser is your licence key when you activate Pro, as explained in our privacy policy. PinRadar uses Google sign-in for Pro licences.
