PinBeeWhat PinBee does not collect
- We do not ask for, see or store your Pinterest username or password.
- We do not upload the pins, searches or boards you view to our servers.
- We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies in the extension.
- We do not sell or rent any personal information.
Data stored on your computer
PinBee saves the following in your browser's own extension storage. It stays on your device, and you can delete it at any time from the Library (Delete data) or by removing the extension:
- Your settings, such as colours, sort preferences and display options.
- Your Library: details of pins PinBee has scanned on pages you opened, such as title, image link, public engagement counts, creator, website and search term.
- Your licence key and its status, if you activate PinBee Pro.
How PinBee reads Pinterest
When you open a Pinterest page, PinBee reads the information already loaded for that page and may request the same public pin details Pinterest shows in your browser, to display stats on each pin. These requests go directly from your browser to Pinterest. They are not sent through or to us.
Licence keys and payments
PinBee Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. When you buy Pro, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing details and payment information and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive order details (such as your name, email and plan) so we can provide support. We never see your full card details.
When you activate, check or remove a licence key, the extension sends to Lemon Squeezy's licence service:
- your licence key;
- a device label describing the browser and operating system, for example "Chrome on Windows";
- an activation ID created by Lemon Squeezy for that browser.
This lets us enforce the 5-browser limit and switch Pro off after a refund or cancellation. The extension re-checks the key about once a day while Pro is active.
This website
pinbee.net does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and Google may receive your IP address, as described in Google's privacy policy. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security.
Emails you send us
If you contact support, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and keep them only as long as needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Because most PinBee data never leaves your computer, you control it directly. For anything we or Lemon Squeezy hold, such as order records, email support@pinbee.net and we will help.
Children
PinBee is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
